By Aaron Humes: In September 2022, a driver of a black Chrysler vehicle failed to see a woman motorcyclist on Coney Drive – and their meeting led to injuries and a charge of negligent grievous harm.
Now, Yuri Centelo has changed her plea to guilty and accepted a fine from the Magistrate’s Court.
Centelo is accused of accidentally hitting Lisa Robateau, who was on a motorcycle, with her vehicle. She told Senior Magistrate Tricia Pitts-Anderson that she never saw Robateau in front of her and issued an apology.
Centelo was fined $2,000 and cost of court to be paid by October 25, in default four months imprisonment.
