By Breaking Belize News Staff: Seasonably warm temperatures and mostly dry weather conditions prevail according to the National Meteorological Service. Today will be another mostly sunny and hot day with isolated showers or thunderstorms developing mainly inland this afternoon and partly cloudy skies tonight.
High temperatures peak at 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 98 degrees inland and 85 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 81 degrees along the coast, 73 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills. A heat alert is in effect and those in inland areas are advised to stay hydrated and avoid outdoor activity in the afternoon especially.
Winds are easterly to southeasterly at five to 15 knots; sea state is slight.
Tides are high as of 5:43 this morning, a low tide occurs at 12:19 this afternoon followed by a high tide at 5:57 this evening. The sun sets at 6:22 this evening and rises at 5:17 Tuesday morning.
Weather continues primarily warm with isolated showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday.
