By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Football Federation of Belize (FFB) on Sunday kicked off its three-day CONCACAF Train the Trainers course for its district representatives.
The CONCACAF course is being conducted by Anton Corneal from Trinidad and Tobago, Marco Santillan from the United States, and FFB Technical Director Philip Marin.
The course aims to equip coach educators with the skills and knowledge to train coaches throughout the country.
The participants are district representatives who have experience in coaching and/or teaching. The FFB, which is the governing body of football in Belize and a member of FIFA, CONCACAF, and UNCAF, said it is committed to making coaching accessible for all.
The CONCACAF course closes on Tuesday, May 30, 2023.
The participants are Wayne Casimiro, John George, Bryan Paz, Jose Aleman, Norman Koko, Elmer Pott, Menalio Novelo, Paul Casimiro, Daniel Smith, Marvin Ottley, Zakenah Lopez, Zerrick Torres, Elizabeth Zabaneh, Tamara Recinos, Kenroy Makin, and Elvin Garcia. All the participants already hold a Concacaf C Coaching License, except Ottley who already has a B License.
