By Breaking Belize News Staff: Today, 29-year-old, Kevin Buller was remanded to the Belize Central Prison after being charged with stealing a $73,000 Toyota Hilux pickup truck from a Belize City vegetable vendor.
Buller appeared in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court answering to a single charge of theft. No plea was taken and due to the rising number of vehicle thefts, he was denied bail in the first instance.
Allegations are that on Saturday, May 27, he stole the vehicle from in front of the owner’s home in the vicinity of Iguana Street Extension.
He was arrested after police reviewed surveillance footage of the area.
