By Breaking Belize News Staff: Today will be another hot and mostly dry day according to the National Meteorological Service, with occasional cloudy spells and isolated showers or thunderstorms this evening and tonight.
High temperatures peak at 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 99 degrees in inland areas and 77 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 81 degrees along the coast, 73 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills. A heat alert remains in effect and hydration and avoidance of outdoor activity in the afternoon are advised.
Winds are easterly to southeasterly at five to ten knots and seas are slight.
Tides are high as of 6:16 this morning. The next low tide is at 1:13 this afternoon, followed by a high tide at 7:05 this evening. The sun sets at 6:23 this evening, rising at 5:17 Wednesday morning.
Similar weather conditions should be expected on Wednesday.
