By Rubén Morales Iglesias: A group of 35 technical staff from the Ministry of Agriculture (MAFSE), partners in development, and national stakeholders are participating in a five-day workshop on Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) at the Log Cabin outside San Ignacio.
The workshop, organized by the MAFSE’S Climate Resilience and Sustainable Agriculture Project (CRESAP) through its Project Execution Unit (PEU), started on Monday, May 29, and will end on Friday, June 2, 2023. CRESAP was launched recently by MAFSE.
The aim of the workshop is to enhance the capacity of project stakeholders on the main tools used by the project to develop a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) system and to outline an M&E Road Map that specifies the next steps to complete the CRESAP M&E system.
The workshop consists of 40% theoretical presentations, 40% practical exercises in groups and 20% plenary discussions. MAFSE said that once the workshop is over, participants are expected to apply the M&E tools according to the CRESAP activities and outcomes.
