The Belize Zoo invites you to Sharon Matola Day!

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Belize Zoo and Tropical Education Center is hosting its 2^nd annual Sharon Matola day in honor of Ѕhаrоn Маtоlа, thе fоundеr аnd vіѕіоnаrу bеhіnd “thе bеѕt lіttlе zоо іn thе wоrld.”

Sharon Matola day will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 honoring Matola’s legacy as it coincides with her birthday.

Gates open at 8:30 am and fun activities continue to 3 pm.

Entrance is FREE for all Belizeans and Permanent Residents.

In lieu of admission, The Belize Zoo is accepting optional donations of fresh fruits, veggies, meat or eggs.
