Belize Hurricanes-Griga Dream Ballers on head on confrontation on Friday in BEBL playoffs at the Civic

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize Elite Basketball League playoffs continue this weekend with two games on Friday and Saturday respectively.

On Friday, June 2, the Benny’s Belize Hurricanes tip off their semifinal 3-games series against the Griga Dream Ballers at the Belize City Civic Center at 9:00 pm. The Hurricanes were unable to start their series last weekend because the Civic was unavailable. The Hurricanes finished the regular season with a 10-4 record while the Dream Ballers completed the 14-game season with a 9-5 record.

Meanwhile, the San Pedro Tiger Sharks look to close their three-game series against league leaders, the Orange Walk Running Rebels, on Saturday at 9:00 pm at the Angel Nuñez Auditorium in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye. The Tiger Sharks stunned the Running Rebels 77-73 last Friday in Orange Walk.
