By Aaron Humes: There was an aggravated burglary in Mullins River, Stann Creek District on Wednesday night.
Two armed men surprised workers for Codd’s Construction company owned by Damian Codd of Silk Grass, Stann Creek after they went out to make checks after hearing a dog barking close to the barracks quarters.
They demanded and seized valuable items but when a third man identified as Carlos Renalds from Sittee River tried to escape, they chased him and fired twice in his direction, but missed. They subsequently fled the scene.
Missing and reported stolen were a Nokia cell phone, two impact drills, a grey Chromebook laptop, and two head flashlights to a total value of $2,055.
Police investigations are underway.
