Orange Walk residents complete BELTRAIDE’s BPO training

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Several Orange Walk residents participated in BELTRAIDE’s Training and Employment Center training sessions to assist them with skills needed to thrive in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry.

Earlier this year, the Ministry of Economic Development statistics showed that there were 28 Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) countrywide with 8000 employees.

The Government of Belize says that it values cooperation with the private sector and aims to create an environment that welcomes investment in Belize.

The training supports the opportunity for persons to equip themselves for the Business Process Outsourcing industry.

A graduation ceremony was held for the first cohort.
