By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service forecasts continuing hot and relatively unstable conditions. Skies will be sunny today and partly cloudy tonight with isolated showers or thunderstorms.
High temperatures peak at 90 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 100 degrees inland and 85 degrees in the hills. Tonight’s low temperatures will be 79 degrees along the coast, 72 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills. A heat alert remains in effect for inland areas and a strong thunderstorm watch is in effect for possible damaging winds, heavy rainfall and hail.
Winds will be light and variable becoming easterly to southeasterly at five to ten knots and sea state is slight.
Tides will be high at 8:37 this morning and 10:35 this evening and low at 4:12 this afternoon. Sunset is at 6:24 this evening and sunrise on Sunday morning at 5:17.
Fair weather and hot temperatures continue with only isolated showers and thunderstorms on Sunday.
