Caye Caulker murder victim identified as Floyd Samuels

By Aaron Humes: Further to our earlier story, police sources have identified the victim of a murder on the island of Caye Caulker tonight has been identified as Floyd Samuels, alias “Southy.”

We understand that Samuel was with a female when they were accosted by the shooter, who opened fire on Samuel. The female was also injured, we understand from police.

Police responded almost immediately and chased after the shooter but it is not yet known whether he was caught.

A police investigation is underway.
