By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The San Ignacio/ Santa Elena community is reeling from the loss of two vibrant, high-spirited youths, Hiram Tillett and Kash Berry.
Both were well-known talented young people contributing to their community but tragedy hit their families.
On June 2, 2023, Hiram’s dad informed family and friends via Facebook that he had succumbed to injuries he received after a traffic accident.
Kash’s family and friends also expressed their sadness and shared memories with her after she lost the battle with cancer.
Photos of Hiram and Kash flooded social media as family and friends extended sympathies to the families.
Educator Shary Medina says that both were former students of hers,” Two of my past students have gone to rest. It’s sad that they both had a promising future of their own. Hiram was always ambitious and talented. Hugs Ms. Mara & Mr. Nelson”
“Kash was my little girl who always believed in my leadership. She was beautiful inside and out. She was a fighter and her wonderful mom Elaine Berry was the champion behind her in every step while she fought cancer,” she added.
BBN joins in extending our sincerest condolences to the Tillett and Berry families.
