Ministry of Blue Economy joins regional organizations in fisheries & aquaculture educational workshop at San Pedro High School

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Ministry of Blue Economy and Civil Aviation (MBECA) is joining two international organizations in a fisheries and aquaculture educational workshop at San Pedro High School.

MBECA said they are joining a team from Organization of the Central American Fisheries and Aquaculture Sector (OSPESCA) and the Central American Integration System (SICA) who are leading an educational workshop at San Pedro High School under the project ‘Integration of the Value Chain in Fisheries and Aquaculture’ (INCAVPESCA).

The workshop seeks to raise students’ awareness of the importance of marine conservation.

“Through this workshop, we hope to inspire our youth to become advocates of marine conservation and sustainable use of our oceans,” MBECA said.

“The blue economy is critical for our planet’s well-being, and it requires us all to work together to protect and preserve it.”
