By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, the office of the Prime Minister announced that Attorney General, Magali Marin Young will leave office at the end of June 2023 and return to private practice.
The Office of the PM noted that Marin Young had indicated upon taking office that she would serve in that post for 2 years and they are pleased that she stayed on for an additional 7 months to serve the nation and people.
“Her achievements in office were many. Positive changes were made during her tenure, including judicial reforms, legal reform, and law revision, and will be felt for years to come,” a statement noted.
In addition, the Office of the Prime Minister and the cabinet extended gratitude to Marin Young for her dedication to professionalism, good governance and sound leadership at the Attorney General’s Ministry and wish her all success in her future endeavours.
