By Aaron Humes: After another record-setting night, Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic said all he cares about is winning the next game on the way to a championship.
Between two triple-doubles from Jokic and running mate Jamal Murray, they beat the Miami Heat comfortably, 109-94, for their fourth straight road win in the NBA playoffs while sending Miami to their third straight home loss.
Jokic’s 32 points, 21 rebounds and 10 assists are the first 30-20-10 triple-double in Finals history and he and Murray, who led all scorers with 34, are the first teammates to triple-double in the Finals in the same match. He now has three triples-doubles in the playoffs this season.
Miami sputtered as they gave away the advantage they had earned after game 2, and if they are unable to win game 4 on Friday night, they could be staring once again down the barrel of elimination, just short of an NBA title.
