Six families in Southern Belize receive keys to new homes

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Today, six families in Southern Belize received the keys to their new homes.

Public relations manager at the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing, Marissa Alamilla and Area Representative for Toledo East, Mike Espat and Area Representative for Dangriga, Louis Zabaneh were present at the handing over.

“It’s a new day and the start of a new and vibrant chapter for them and their beautiful families. With that said, the word of the day is JOY,” the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing said.

“Every delivery of a new home is affirmation that this low-income housing programme is empowering and truly a worthy investment. #PlanBelize building a better life for our people,” the Prime Minister noted recently.

The Government of Belize says that this pilot project is in line with Plan Belize objectives.
