Ministry of Rural Transformation hands over new pump and motor to Santa Cruz water board

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On June 6, 2023, the Ministry of Rural Transformation, Community Development, Labour and Local Government handed over a new pump and motor to the Santa Cruz Water Board in the Stann Creek District.

Area Representative for Stann Creek West, Rodwell Ferguson and the Santa Cruz Water Board had notified the Ministry that the village was experiencing water shortage due to pump issues.

As a result, the Ministry assisted the Water Board by procuring a new pump and motor.

The pump and motor was installed and water was restored to the residents.
