Belize Weather: Conditions becoming more moist and unstable to start the week

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service today forecasts sunny skies with cloudy spells and a few showers or thunderstorms mainly along the coast this morning and over most areas this afternoon. Tonight, skies will be generally cloudy with showers or thunderstorms along the coast.

High temperatures peak at 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 94 degrees over inland areas and 79 degrees in the hills. Tonight, temperatures fall to 79 degrees along the coast, 73 degrees inland and 68 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly to northeasterly at five to 15 knots and sea state is light chop.

Tides will be low at 10:27 this morning and 10:23 this evening and high at 3:54 this afternoon. The sun sets at 6:30 this evening and rises at 5:20 Tuesday morning.

Tuesday sees cloudy skies with some showers or thunderstorms over most areas.
