Cashier robbed at Belize Healthcare Partners Limited

By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating a Monday morning robbery at the Belize Healthcare Partners Hospital on Blue Marlin Drive.

A cashier reported that she was at the parking lot getting ready to go and make a deposit when she was attacked by a man who pushed her down and took the envelope containing some cash. Thereafter, the man fled in a vehicle from the area.

At Monday’s police briefing, Assistant Commissioner of Police Hilberto Romero, the officer in charge of Eastern Division, told reporters, “We are reviewing footage and the matter just occurred this morning, so we don’t have any further details…No one [has been] detained as yet.”
