Prime Minister, Special Envoy and health policymakers discuss priorities for cancer

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On July 5, 2023, Prime Minister John Briceño, Special Envoy for the Development of Families and Children, Rossana Briceño and health policy makers discussed health priorities for cancer.

“Cancer has touched so many families and so many of us can speak of a family member or friend who is a survivor or has lost the battle to a type of that illness,” the Prime Miniter said.

The purpose of the meeting was to identify priorities and possible interventions.

Many people across the country has lost loved ones to the deadly disease and many more continue to battle cancer.
