Notorious figure Brandon Taylor charged in connection with the robbery of Belize Healthcare Partners cashier

By Aaron Humes: In a significant development, authorities have implicated a well-known underworld figure, Brandon Taylor, in the robbery of a cashier at Belize Healthcare Partners Limited (BHPL) a few weeks ago. Taylor, 37, also known as Brandon Bowen, stands accused of abetment to commit robbery, which entails intentionally aiding and encouraging another individual in the commission of a robbery.

Although no charges have been filed for the actual robbery incident, surveillance footage allegedly captured Taylor behind the wheel of a Mazda Tribute shortly after the incident occurred. The footage also showed the robber entering the vehicle from a blue Ford Escape.

During court proceedings, Taylor entered a plea of not guilty and was granted bail of $3,000, despite objections raised. It is worth noting that the cashier, who had a brown manila envelope containing a sum of money stolen, was not physically harmed during the robbery.
