Belize City man critical after being stabbed

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A Belize City man is listed in critical condition at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital after being stabbed on Monday evening.

The victim, identified as Shane Vernon, was reportedly in the vicinity of Victoria Street sometime after 5:30 p.m. when he was stabbed.

Vernon’s injuries are said to be severe and include internal organ damage.

Reports are that his attacker, who was also injured in the incident, is currently under police guard at the hospital.
