By Aaron Humes: A fisherman of the Wagierale area of Dangriga Town, Stann Creek District, has been further charged in relation to a gun police found that had been reported stolen last year.

24-year-old Nolbert Smith appeared before Magistrate Tehri-Ann Brown on a single charge of handling stolen goods.

Allegations are that on November 16, 2022, he dishonestly assisted in the retention of a black .25 pistol, property of William Alexander Baptist.

He pleaded not guilty and remains on bail of $4,000 plus one surety of the same which he met. Magistrate Brown also set a condition to Smith’s bail where he was told he cannot associate with any known gang member.

Smith returns to court on August 23.
