By Breaking Belize News Staff: Police have detained construction worker, Marvin Ramirez pending charges for discharging a firearm in public.

Reports indicate that around 5:15 pm on Thursday, police responded to Silk Grass Village following reports of a shooting incident.

Near a bar in the village, police found a walther brand 9mm gun with 3 live rounds.

Investigations continue.
