Orange Walk motorcyclist killed in collision; driver to face charges

By Aaron Humes: One John Arredondo has been served a notice of intended prosecution in relation to a traffic accident reported on Saturday night along the San Estevan Road, Orange Walk District.

According to Police, 31-year-old Edwin Ramirez was riding his motorcycle just before 9 p.m. when a Ford F-150 collided with him. He was flung from the bike and died at the scene, later being pronounced dead at the Northern Regional Hospital.

A urine sample has been obtained from Arredondo and an investigation is ongoing into this matter.
