Loaded AK-47 found on Corozal farm

By Aaron Humes: An example of the high-powered weaponry police say is being used in the recent spate of gunplay in the North was recovered Wednesday afternoon at a farm in Xaibe, Corozal District.

At a quarter past two on Wednesday, a police search led to an AK-47 with a magazine carrying 17 live rounds of 7.62-millimeter ammunition.

Properties were sealed, labeled, and deposited as found property.
