Police: Fatal accident sees pick-up overturned after towing belt snapped

By Aaron Humes: A mishap on the road at Bella Vista, Toledo District over the weekend claimed the life of 37-year-old Fredis Ordonez, who was maneuvering a pick-up truck being towed by a bus.

Initial investigation revealed that Ordonez lost control of the pick-up and overturned in a nearby drain. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the nearest hospital in the area.

Investigations into this matter continue.
