Twenty-five beekeepers participate in training by Ministry of Agriculture

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez:  On August 10, 2023, 25 beekeepers participated in a beekeeping training hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise.

Beneficiaries of the Caricom Development fund project also participated in the training.

The session included Pest Management, Supplemental Feeding for Beekeeping and Collection, Storage and Processing of Propolis, and making of Soap with propolis and honey.

The training was Coordinated by Extension Officer Jesse Madrid and facilitated by Miguel Huertas, Federico Chi and Jesse Madrid.

This training has been held for other districts in prior weeks.
