By Celeste Chang: Today the Police Department in Punta Gorda Town held a back-to-school drive ceremony at the police station. Their stated goal was to spread the love and to make the children happy in their area of responsibility.
A total of 40 children received school bags among the Punta Gorda cadets and the Big Falls cadets.
The Department extended their appreciation for those who made it possible including Officer Commanding Toledo (Police) Formation, Assistant Superintendent Brent Hamilton; Deputy in charge of Operations, Insp. Daniel Pascual, and the local stores and store branches of Dibary, A&R, Raju’s Variety Store, Caribbean Tires, and other Police Officers.
