Police confirm discovery of black M4 rifle believed to have been stolen from Belize Defence Force

By Aaron Humes: According to police, on Wednesday, August 23, at about 1:30 p.m., police searched an abandoned lot in the Jane Usher Boulevard area.

As a result, they discovered a black M4 rifle. The firearm was sealed, labelled and deposited as found property.

It has now been confirmed by Police that the rifle is the one stolem from Camp Belizario in the Cayo District a few weeks ago.

Reports link the alleged theft to a soldier of the Belize Defence Force (BDF) who is reportedly related to a gang member in Belize City.
