Ministry of Health hosts Non-Communicable Diseases Back-to-school Expo

By Celeste Chang: The Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) Back-to-School Expo was held at the Belmopan Civic Center and hosted by the Ministry of Health and Wellness and the Belmopan City Council.

It was held as a reminder for youths to start making healthier choices today to reduce the risks of NCDs. The official ceremony was held this morning at the Belmopan Civic Center under the theme “Nuh fu Belize!”

The NCDs expo included multiple stakeholders in health encouraging wellness, providing basic health screening and offering health products and services.

The Ministry thanks its partners, Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology, Belmopan City Council and the students of Our Lady of Guadalupe High School, Belmopan.
