Second annual Investment Summit attracts more participants than anticipated

By Breaking Belize News Staff: The Belize Investment Summit 2023, being hosted by the Government of Belize in San Pedro from August 30-September 1, has attracted more participants than originally anticipated, an insider told Breaking Belize News.

According to sources, the organisers had initially catered for 500 guests but Prime Minister John Briceño confirmed via a Facebook post today that the summit has seen attendance of 800 guests.

Prime Minister Briceño said he was excited for this second edition of the Investment Summit and said it is an exciting time to invest in Belize. Several high profile names are in attendance at this year’s summit including the former President of Colombia.

The Investment Summit is intended to showcase what makes Belize the #1 investment destination in the Central American and Caribbean region. “Our biodiverse landscape with its verdant rainforests, fertile fields and blue seas, together with our rich cultural heritage represent but a snapshot of what makes our nation so alluring to visitors the world over.
