Leader of the Opposition, Shyne Barrow and Grenada’s Prime Minister discuss regional alliances

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On August 30, 2023, Leader of the Opposition, Shyne Barrow met with Prime Minister of Grenada, Dickon Mitchell.

“As Leader of the UDP my vision is to establish and nurture relationships with Leaders such as the current Prime Minister of Grenada so we can lean on each other for the advancement of our Nations,” Barrow expressed.

Barrow said that regional and global relationships are crucial to our national development.

“Prime Minister Dickon Mitchel and I are the same age. We represent a new era of political leadership that will change the state of politics forever for the better,” Barrow added.

The Leader of the Opposition expressed gratitude to PM Mitchell for his hospitality and expressed enthusiasm for the continued engagement for the betterment of our nations and CARICOM.
