Belize Weather: Mix of sunshine and showers

By Breaking Belize News Staff: According to the National Meteorological Service, skies will be sunny with cloudy spells today and partly cloudy tonight. showers or thunderstorms will be isolated except for a few more over northern districts this morning, then over some coastal areas tonight.

High temperatures will range from 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 94 degrees over inland areas and 81 degrees in the hills. Low temperatures tonight range from 81 degrees along the coast; to 74 degrees inland and 70 degrees in the hills.

Winds are easterly at five to 15 knots and sea conditions are running choppy.

Tides will be high at 11:41 this morning and 11:46 this evening and low at 5:54 this afternoon. Sunset is at 6:05 this evening and sunrise on Sunday morning at 5:38.

The weather outlook for Sunday: generally fair with isolated showers and isolated thunderstorms but an increase in showers over northern and coastal areas Sunday night.
