Jermaine Wagner back in court for alleged motorcycle theft after being accused of damage to property

Posted: Saturday, September 2, 2023. 10:03 am CST.

By Aaron Humes: An alleged seasoned criminal figure is back before the court less than a week after he was charged with damage to property.

Now Jermaine Wagner, 27, fisherman of Antelope Street Extension, is accused of theft of a $4,000 Lifan motorcycle on August 22.

Despite objections by the court prosecutor, Wanger was offered bail of $1,500 and surety; he has not been able to meet and is remanded into custody until he can.

When he does, Wagner is to not interfere with and stay away from the complainant and those close to her and to avoid further arrests. He also currently owes the court more than a thousand dollars in fines.

Last week Monday, Wagner appeared before the Chief Magistrate and pleaded guilty to damage to property for causing damage to a 50-foot black and yellow water hose valued at $175. He was fined 400 dollars and cost of court, due by September 29.
