Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at partners with Ministry of Education to boost back-to-school morale

By Breaking Belize News Staff: As schools across the nation reopened their doors, students were greeted with more than just the familiar chime of the school bell. Thanks to a collaborative initiative by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at and the Ministry of Education, students at Hattieville Government School commenced their academic year with a spring in their step and essential supplies in hand.

This altruistic move saw hundreds of beaming children receive packages, backpacks, school supplies, protective masks, and hand sanitizers, emphasizing the importance of a safe and well-equipped return to the classroom amidst ongoing global health concerns.

Traditionally, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at has marked the back-to-school season by offering free haircuts and backpacks at their headquarters, ensuring that students return to school with confidence and the essential tools for learning. This year, by joining forces with the Ministry of Education, the impact has been amplified, providing an even stronger foundation for Belize’s young learners.

The ethos guiding such generous initiatives is succinctly captured in Ahmadiyya’s belief: “Nations cannot be reformed without the reformation of the youth.” As students embark on a new academic journey, they do so with the knowledge that organizations like Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at and the Ministry of Education stand firmly behind them, championing their success every step of the way.
