By Aaron Humes: Young cyclist Jaylen Briceño has claimed bronze in the junior men’s individual time trial at the Caribbean Junior Cycling Championship in the Dominican Republic.
He joins Gabrielle Gabourel, who won gold on the women’s side of the event.
The Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association shared the following in congratulation: “Way to Go, Jaylen! Our very own Jaylen Briceño has clinched the bronze medal in the Junior Male ITT at the Caribbean Junior Cycling Championship in the Dominican Republic! Keep up the amazing work!” Congratulations are also pouring in for both Jaylen and Gabrielle from Belizeans on social media.
Other members of the team include Benito Gutierrez, Jaheem Lewis, Delton Rojas, Tyler Tejeda, and Devyn Major.
