Ministry of Health and Wellness launches Healthy Lifestyle Caravan initiative

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On September 16, 2023, the Ministry of Health and Wellness launched the Healthy Lifestyle Caravan initiative.

The Healthy Lifestyle Caravan initiative was launched in partnership with the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) Belize in Cotton Tree Village.

The Healthy Lifestyle Caravan will be a one-stop shop for health care services, with participation from the Ministry and the Western Regional Hospital.

Community members who attended the launch obtained information and health care and children were treated to fun, educational activities by PAHO.

The caravan will make stops in all municipalities in Belize.
