The UN General Assembly (UNGA) is the main policy-making organ of the Organization.
Comprising all Member States, it provides a unique forum for multilateral discussion of the full spectrum of international issues covered by the Charter of the United Nations.
The Belize delegation is being led by Prime Minister John Briceno and includes other Ministers of Government and Government officials.
The UNGA runs through September 23rd and will see nations’ leaders and technocrats discuss a variety of issues including the Sustainable Development Goals, climate resilience, and climate change among other global issues.
