Deliverymen robbed at gunpoint in Belize City; almost $4,000 in cash and valuables stolen

By Aaron Humes: Police continue their investigations into a robbery on Saturday afternoon on Marigold Lane, Belize City.

According to driver William Zepeda and his partner Brian, they were delivering construction material in the area around 2:30 in the afternoon when three dark-skinned men approached and one pulled out a firearm and held it on them.

They recognized it as a hold-up and immediately handed over jewelry and a cell phone as well as a wallet to a total value of $3,935 to the robbers, who fled toward Jasmine Street.
