Ministry of Rural Transformation hands over 50 meters to Georgeville Water Board

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez:  Today, Minister of Rural Transformation, Community Development, Labour, and Local Government, Oscar Requena handed over 50 meters to the Georgeville Water Board.

Minister Requena was accompanied by CEO Valentino Shal, Cayo Central Area Representative Alex Balona, and Chairman of Georgeville Village, David McDougal.

The meters were handed over to Anthony Vasquez, Chairman of Georgeville Water Board.

The 50 meters are worth $17,000 BZ. 

The meters will support the Georgeville Water Board in monitoring the businesses’ water usage. This will promote the sustainability and preservation of the rural water system, fostering further development and growth for the community.
