Passing of corporal of police no. 1384, Harry Hill mourned by Belize Police Department and Ministry of Home Affairs

By Horace Palacio: The Belize Police Department and the Ministry of Home Affairs are in deep mourning following the sudden and tragic passing of one of their own, CORPORAL OF POLICE No. 1384, HARRY HILL.

Kareem Musa, Minister of Home Affairs and New Growth Industries, expressed profound sadness at the news. He, alongside Commissioner of Police, Chester C. Williams, Deputy Commissioners Bartholomew Jones, Dr. A. Richard Rosado, and Aaron Guzman, as well as the senior ranks and entire force of the Belize Police Department, have extended their heartfelt condolences.

Corporal Hill, born on August 17, 1987, was known for his unwavering dedication to the Belize Police Department, the Government of Belize, and, most importantly, the people of Belize. He had built strong bonds with his colleagues, many of whom described him as not just a co-worker, but a brother and friend.

In a heartfelt message, the department stated, “May his family, loved ones, colleagues, and friends find solace in the arms of God. You have left us suddenly, Hill, but your dedication…will never be forgotten. Sleep on Hill, for we will all meet again one day.”
