Armed thieves steal over $20,000 from delivery truck in Santa Elena, Cayo

By Breaking Belize News Staff: This morning, two armed thieves on a motorcycle targeted a delivery truck in Santa Elena, Cayo.

According to reports, the driver of the truck and his assistant were attacked and held up along with the owner of a meat shop on George Price Highway in Santa Elena just as the driver was conducting deliveries.

The armed thieves reportedly hit the men and stole over $20,000 from them.

The men were reportedly wearing motorcycle helmets to conceal their identities.

They escaped on a motorcycle.

This is the third armed robbery in Santa Elena in just a matter of weeks and police are yet to make an arrest.

An official police report is yet to be issued.
