Health Minister Kevin Bernard chairs regional council meeting

By Celeste Chang: The 45th Meeting of the Council for Human and Social Development (COHSOD) kicked off today, chaired by Minister of Health and Wellness Kevin Bernard.

Belize’s delegation is rounded out by CEO Dr Julio Sabido and Director of Health and Wellness Dr Melissa Diaz Musa.

The 45th COHSOD meeting is a significant platform for regional collaboration and discussions on health and social development issues.

Per the Ministry, Belize’s participation in COHSOD reflects its commitment to enhancing our healthcare standards, promoting wellness, and improving the standard of life for all Belizeans.

The meeting allows representatives from fellow CARICOM countries to address issues, share what implementations work for them, and lastly seek innovative solutions for our region’s well-being.
