By Aaron Humes: Police have confirmed a fatal stabbing in Belmopan earlier today.

Preliminary information is that an altercation between two men became fatal on St Matthew Street in the San Martin area.

The body of the victim, not yet identified, was found in a creek in the area.

Police are said to have one man detained as part of their investigations, which are underway.
