Teenager accused of armed robbery for cellphone remanded to jail

By Breaking Belize News Staff: A 19-year-old man accused of an armed robbery for a cellphone was remanded to prison today until his next court date.

Daveion Dougal, who was unrepresented in court was arraigned on a charge of armed robbery. He allegedly pulled a gun on a man and took his cellphone on September 22. 

Dougal pleaded not guilty but due to the nature of the offence, he was remanded to the Belize Central Prison until November 23.
