Belize U-23 National Volleyball Team currently at 3rd place heading into match with rivals Guatemala

By Breaking Belize News: Following a close but tough loss to El Salvador last night, the Belize Under-23 Men’s National Volleyball Team currently rank 3rd in standings as they get ready to face Guatemala today.

Nicaragua and Costa Rica currently rank ahead of Belize in the tournament while Panama and El Salvador round out the top 5. Belize’s opponent today, Guatemala currently ranks at 6th in the tournament.

Belize will face off against Guatemala today at 4:00 p.m. at the La Basita Sports Center in Chiriqui, Panama.

Yestersay, El Salvador defeated Belize in four sets, 12-25, 25-23, 25-22, 25-22.

Belize dominated in the first set but El Salvador narrowly escaped in each of the next three sets.

Belize hopes to bounce back today against rivals Guatemala.
