Department of Youth Services Director submits resignation amid allegations of academic fraud

By Breaking Belize News Staff: Longtime Director of the Department of Youth Services, Kevin Cadle, has tendered his resignation following allegations of academic fraud.

Cadle submitted his resignation after allegations that his MBA was fraudulent. Minister of Public Service, Henry Charles Usher, told the media that he has not seen any proof of fraud being reported by the media and instead has only seen Cadle’s resignation letter.

According to Usher, Cadle will still be compensated for his 26 years of public service. Usher thanked him for all his years of service and dedication.

As Director of Youth Services, Cadle spent years working with at-risk youth across the country along with the Leadership Intervention Unit and the Police Department.
