As of this morning, Philippe was located some 845 miles east of the northern Leeward Islands.

Maximum sustained winds are near 45 mph (75 km/h) with higher gusts.

Gradual weakening is expected during the next few days.

AL91 is also producing showers and thunderstorms and is located several hundred miles west-southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands.

Environmental conditions are forecast to be conducive for development, and a tropical depression is expected to form in the next couple of days while the system moves west-northwestward across the central tropical Atlantic.

This system has a 90% chance of formation through the next 7 days.
